Selfdrive Packages
We can design a tour package to suite your interests and time available, doing all your accommodation bookings and arrange for a suitable Hire vehicle for you to have a totally prepared package ready for you on arrival in Maun, Johannesburg or Windhoek..
You can choose a fully equipped Camping Vehicle and camp all the way, or a Sedan or SUV and stay in Lodges and permanent camps or Bed & Breakfast establishments or whatever you prefer and best suits your budget.
These itineraries can include South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho, Swaziland Zambia and or Zimbabwe
Guided Safaris
The following are typical tour packages we offer and these can be altered or extended to suit your preferences and preferred travel dates. We can arrange accomodation prior to and after safaris, and add-ons as required. For prices and availability please email papadi@info.bw with details of your group, eg: number of doubles, singles, children and age, preferred start and end points and dates of travel. Also the itinerary you are interested in and any variations thereto.
Our Standard Guided Safaris comprise a group of 2 to 10 Clients, for exclusive individual or larger group Safaris we will quote on request.

Moremi & Savute Safari - Maun to Maun - 7 days

DAY 1MAUN
You fly / Drive into Maun where our guide will meet you and escort you to a Rustic Lodge on the banks of.the Thamalakane River. Accommodation is in Basic en-suite Thatch bungalows.
This afternoon your guide will brief you on the procedures for the next ten days and after lunch you will have the afternoon free to explore Maun or relax at the pool.
This evening we do supper at a restaurant. (Own cost).
DAY 2 & 3MOREMI GAME RESERVE
We Load our custom designed 4x4 Safari Vehicle and head North for Moremi Game Reserve, situated on the Eastern side of the Okavango Delta.
We will spend two nights camping in Moremi. We do morning and afternoon game drives as we explore the reserve extensively and traverse areas of savannah, Mopani forests, Acacia scrubland and the vast reed beds where fingers of the delta flow deep into the reserve. Each area hosting prolific and diverse animal and birdlife. Suppers are prepared over the campfire as we listen to the animal noises drifting in out of the dark and you can expect to be lulled to sleep by a symphony of screeches and clicks from cicadas and reed frogs and the occasional roar of a lion or whoop of a hyena.

DAY 4 & 5
CHOBE NATIONAL PARK - SAVUTE
We camp here two nights besides the Savute channel that is flowing again after being dry for nearly 30 years and the vast grass plains of the Savute marsh an area famous for its large population of massive Bull elephants and a favourite hunting ground of lion, wild dog, hyena and cheetah that are attracted there by the annual wildebeest and Zebra migrations. We also visit a small Bushman painting site on a nearby hillside.

DAY 6 & 7
MAUN
We do an early morning breakfast before we Safari back to Maun, to a Rustic Lodge on the Thamalakane River and take our last supper together in a local restaurant. (Own cost) Accommodation is in Basic en-suite Thatch bungalows.
After breakfast on day 7 we transfer into town where you can do a final exploratory walkabout and stock up on curios before your flight out.

When travelling we offer a sandwich and salad, picnic style Lunch.

DAY 1
MAUN

MOREMI GAME RESERVE
After breakfast we head North for Moremi, situated on the eastern side of the Okavango Delta. We will spend two nights in Moremi as we Safari around the reserve in search of leopard, lion, elephant, buffalo, antelope, etc. We explore the reserve extensively and traverse areas of savannah, Mopani forests, Acacia scrubland and the vast reed beds where fingers of the delta flow deep into the reserve. Each area hosting prolific and diverse animal and birdlife. DAY 4, 5 & 6

After breakfast we pack up camp and Safari North to Savute in the adjoining Chobe National Park. We camp here two nights besides the Savute channel that is flowing again after being dry for nearly 30 years and the vast grass plains of the Savute marsh an area famous for its large population of massive Bull elephants and a favourite hunting ground of lion, wild dog, hyena and cheetah that are attracted there by the annual wildebeest and Zebra migrations.
We also visit a small Bushman painting site on a nearby hillside.
On Day 6 we Safari further North through the Chobe National park to camp at Ihaha on the Banks of the Chobe River. We do an afternoon Game drive along the Banks of the Chobe River, famous for the vast herds of elephant and buffalo that come down to the river to drink daily, especially in the dry Season. We have a good chance of encountering one prides of lion that prey on the herds of buffalo. Hippo and crocodile abound in the River.

DAY 7
KASANE
We pack up camp and do a game drive along the Chobe River until we depart the Park at Kasane. We camp on the banks of the Chobe River near Kasane.
This afternoon we enjoy a sunset game viewing cruise on the Chobe River enjoying cool sundowners as we drift along watching the game coming down to the river for their evening drink. We will enjoy a restaurant supper this night. (Own cost).

DAY 8, 9 & 10
VICTORIA FALLS
Victoria Falls We head for Victoria Falls, one of the natural wonders of the world, the spectacle of this 108 meter plunge of the Zambezi River over the falls is awesomely unforgettable. Accommodation is in a secure B&B lodge. We have two days to explore the area enjoy the many attractions on offer; try White Water rafting, the Flight of Angels, canoeing the upper Zambezi, a traditional dancing show or meandering around the village bartering for curios and artefacts or enjoying the many other activities on offer.
Accommodation is in a B&B lodge. (Excursions, lunches and suppers own cost).

Okavango Delta fly in Safari - 4 days

MAUN
You fly / drive into Maun where depending on your time of arrival and time constraints you can either catch a charter flight direct to a Lodge situated on an island deep in the Okavango delta or spend your first night at a Lodge in the Maun area.
Most of the Lodges situated in and around the Okavango Delta that due to water levels are only accesable by Air Charter.
Activities available at these Lodges are mainly Mekorro ( Traditional Dugout Canoe ) and motor boat excursions on the channels and Lagoons of the Delta and game walks on the Islands, with some Lodges offering Game Drives as well, all led by Professional in house Safari Guides that have on hand and intimate knowledge of their concession area.

Game walks on the surrounding islands allow you the opportunity to observe the smaller creatures and animal tracks, scents and sounds that are overlooked when on a game drive and at the same time keeping a careful lookout for lion, elephant, buffalo any the numerous smaller animal species and birds that proliferate in the Delta.

On the last day you fly Back to Maun in time for your forwarding flight out or alternatively to Join one of our Mobile Camping Safaris.

On request or in time to allow you to return to Maun in time to join one of our scheduled Mobile Camping Safari Departures. This Excursion can also be arranged after our Moremi and Savute Safari. On request we can price and arrange for you to fly directly from Savute into the Okavango Delta.
A variety of upgrades to more luxurious Lodges in the Okavango can also be arranged on request.

After breakfast we transfer you to a village situated on the edge of the Okavango Delta.
We will spend two nights camping wild on an island in the Delta. We do morning and afternoon excursions by mekorro and on foot as we explore the channels and lagoons of the Okavango Delta.
Game walks on the surrounding islands allow you the opportunity to observe the smaller creatures and animal tracks, scents and sounds that are overlooked when on a game drive and at the same time keeping a careful lookout for lion, elephant, buffalo any the numerous smaller animal species and birds that proliferate in the Delta.
We do a 3 to 4 hour excursion early in the mornings, returning to camp for a hearty brunch after which we relax through the hotter midday hours and then do a shorter late afternoon excursion.

DAY 4MAUN
After breakfast we mekorro back to the Village and change to our 4x4 Safari vehicle for our drive back to Maun.
On returning to Maun you are free to continue with your travels or you may choose to join one of our Mobile Camping Departures heading for Moremi Game Reserve, Savute, etc.
